Dilip Ghosh president of the West Bengal unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Before joining BJP, he started his career as RSS “Pracharak” in year 1984. Year in 1999 to 2007, was the in-charge of RSS in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. He worked with former RSS chief K.S. Sudarshan as assistant. In 2014, Dilip Ghosh was appointed as the General Secretary of the West Bengal. Dilip Ghosh was appointed as BJP President of West Bengal State, in 2015.
Bharatiya Janata Party has won 18 seats out of 42 seats in 2019, Lok Sabha election, under the leadership of Dilip Ghosh. After the success of 2019, Lok Sabha election BJP hope they will win the 2021 election, and first BJP CM will be in Bengal.
Political career: In year 2015, was appointed as BJP president of West Bengal State. In year 2016, Dilip Ghosh won from Kharagpur Sadar constituency of Paschim Medinipur district by defeating Gyan Singh Sohanpal from Congress in West Bengal Assembly election.
